what do you want?

It is only through the human heart that a human person is able to feel real happiness that has emanated from the human act motivated by the use of a positive affective human faculty. In our lives, there were so many instances when we were allured to use our human reason and intellect for happiness. They never last. They only cause us troubles in the end. They only give us disappointments and sadness.

God does not want His very precious human creature to suffer and feel sad. But God will not flick His finger and in a spur of a moment, our sadness is gone. He will not do such. So, if He has given us the choice to decide and discern on things that will make us happy, then, He is also allowing us to decide on things that will make us unhappy. Sounds fair enough huh!

It is solely dependent on our own human decision and action that lies the achievement of real happiness. It is all up to me, to you and to the whole humankind what to decide for our lives in order to gain real happiness. So, we need God’s divine assistance to be able to decide on what things will make us real happy.

If I may be allowed to ask you one question, it will be: “What do you want?” and “How will you achieve that want?” Your answer may be relatively arbitrary as it will leave a huge room for arguments. Same with mine.
