God's help is near

Faith is the believe that God is real and that god is good.... It is a choice to believe that the one who made it all hasn't left it all and that He still sends light into the shadows and responds to gestures of faith....

Faith is the belief that God will do what is right.

God says that more hopeless is your circumtances, the more likely your salvation. The greater you cares, the more geniune your prayers. The darker the room, the greater the needs for light.

God 's help is near and always available but it is only given to those who seek it.

God is angry at Evil

Many don't understand God's anger because they confuse the wrath of God with the wrath of man. The two have little in common. Human anger is typically self -driven and prone to explosion of temper and violent deeds. We ge ticked off because we've been overlooked, neglected or cheated. this the anger of man. It is not, however, the anger og God.

God doesn't get angry because he doesn't get His way. He get angry because because disobedience always result in self destruction. What kind of father sits by and watches his child hurt himself?

Where God is at work, join Him

Nothing wrong with planning.. Nothing wrong with thinking it through. Nothing wrong with doing your charts, listing all the pros and cons, talking it over. But you are moving along, stay sensitive to the quite, yet all important prompting nof god through his Holy spirit.

It is easier to steer a moving car, just get the car rolling and you can push it in the filling station to get the gas. But it's hard to get it moving from a dead stop. So you're on your way, you're making your plans, you're thinking it through. Just stay open....

"Watch to see where God is at work and join Him!" Just go there. Why do you want to be anywhere God isn't at work?

The Weight of Worry

How wonderful that God personally cares about those things that worry us and prey upon our thoughts. He cares about them more than we care about them. Not a single nagging, aching, worrisome, stomach tensing, blood pressure raising thought escape His notice.

This is how the Phillips translation renders 1 Peter5:7: " You can throw the whole weight of your anxieties upon Him.for you are His personal concern."

Is'nt that good. He genuinely cares. He is able to wear all the weight of your worry. Because you are His personal concern, you never disappear from His radar screen.
