up to this date, i still vividly remember the day my former classmates in college brought me to a restaurant at the heart of the complex of a certain mall named Gateway in Cubao Quezon City Phils.
it was during my 2007 family home visit when the invitation for dinner of these two close friends and classmates of mine took place.
my friend-classmates Atess and Winnie hooked me up that day to a dinner date in Mandarin Restaurant located at the center of Gateway's complex.
the food was great, the conversations between me and them were very enjoyable and the ambience of the restaurant was cool and the waiter service was superb.
i will surely visit the same restaurant the next time i go on my home visit...with our without atess and winnie.
a little bit more background about atess and winnie:
they were my classmates in college turned friends and then became my sisters, too!, in a college fraternity-sorority which i joined during my second year...Although, i was older than them by four years ( i started my grade one when i was already 10 years old, LOL), i used to call them 'ate' (-an elder sister in the family) simply because they were ahead of me by one year in our frat-sorority....the years that passed didn't stop us from our communications despite ,too, of distance and time constraints.....until the day i left the Phils for my monastic vocation...and i was grateful to sis atess' eldest son's blogsite because thru it , we were reconnected and reunited in spirits and finally in persons....the day i spent with them was very much enjoyed!
