How can we abide in Christ? Reading God's Word and prayer are best answers.Prayer is a way to maintain constant communion with God the Father and God the Son through God the Holy Spirit. It is the means of living out the intense relationship Jesus described.
We're called to abide in Him, but God also promises that He will abide in us! Awareness of God's presence comes as the result of taking time to speak and listen to Him. When you practice being aware of God's presence you pick up His signals all throughout the day.
At work, at home, in your car or wherever you are, you begin to dialogue with the Lord.
It must be done with God's presence in and around you. (Collosians 1:27).
