Today's Gospel (Lk 17:7-10): "We have only done our duty..."

"Jesus said to his disciple, «Who among you would say to your servant coming in from the fields after plowing or tending sheep: ‘Come at once and sit down at table?’...."

Meditations: Today, the Gospel message is not placed on the master's attitude, but on the servant's. Jesus, with the example of a parable, invites his apostles to consider the stance of service: the servant should fulfill his duties without expecting any reward: «Do you thank this servant for doing what you commanded?» (Lk 17:9)...

i 'ope sa pag buklat ng iyung mata ay mapasaya kita at mapangiti sa ihahandog ko para sayo... buksan mo ang bahay ko, at tumuloy ka...makikita mo ang para sayo na nag mula sa ka-ibuturan ng aking puso.

Sorry to barge in on you. I thought you might find the information in my blog helpful. Ask The Car Dr. is an interactive blog designed for those of us who are driving and maintaining older vehicles. My last Volvo 740GL had over 360,000 mile on it before the time came to replace it. Quite honestly the car still was reliable enough to keep driving but my 140lb dog had his way with tan the interior and we were ready for a change.
