All of us pray and hold on to our prayers because we hope and want to go to heaven.And of course, we go to Mass definitely for a reason that in going to Mass, it can hopefully pave our way to heaven.
There was an anecdote about a man who wanted to know whether he will go to heaven or hell. He wanted to know what hell was and what heaven was. He did not want to be deceived. And with that in mind, he kept praying to God to show him what heaven and hell looked like so he could finally decide where to go in the end of his life.
