but after getting permission to be relieved from my job in the kitchen as the community's manager, and after days of soul searchings and locking-in-myself inside my cell= i finally found myself feeling an urge to go out in the woods and once again spend the Sunday's blesssings of a freetime of peace and silence...
while taking one round at the cloister corridors, i noticed and thought of taking a snapshot of this centuries-old church bell with me at the background.
when i was about to go down the trail to the wilderness, i heard a sound coming from the Church, so i decided to get in and look who i found inside playing the organ? it's Dom Anton, the organist practicing some pieces for this afternoon's Vespers.
look what i saw! up on the tree is one lonesome raven enjoying the windbreeze and shielding itself from the sun's rays.
the long and winding narrow trail will lead you to the bosom of the wilderness.. in here, i can find satisfaction just by looking around, filling my thoughts with new hopes , with new aspirations, with an inspiration.
the wilderness...the 'mall' of the world where i live... the dwelling place of God's creatures and other wildlife.
a wider and paved trail links the monastery to the guesthouse... Guests wonder in awe as they pass this way from their rooms to the Church at an early 3:50Am for our first prayers of the day: Vigils!
a wandering monk...looking around...gazing at the bluest of a blue sky... enjoying the wonders of God's creations.
there is no mystery, but beauty and grandeur in a monk doing a monastic walk...communing with God through the wonders of His nature!
rushing my way back to the monastery while there is still enough sunlight and heat, and before the cold freezing wind starts to overthrow the sun's heat and warmth...

I've always fallen away from Christianity because of the mythos, particularly talking snakes, ladders from heaven, parting seas and blood rivers, to mention just a few. As a believer how do you integrate sucj things in your faith? Do you actually believe that they happened? I just can't get past them.

nice pictures kuya. naalala ko 2loy ung music video ng "Gregorian". Ganda nung sky, blue na blue at walang kaulap-ulap. ehehehe. Shempre,as expected may pa-cute pose kayo uli. hehehe.

akala ko di ka naga-update kasi wala akong natatanggap na new feeds. baka kako may problem lang since naglipat ka domain. i tried subscribing uli then i received this error message from feedburner:

@Dom, ronnie is right. you have to get the new feed of your new url to supply it on feedburner for it to work anew.

ive already brushed away so many events these past few months, kanina na lang may bibisita sana sa akin sabi ko marami ako gawa, then on saturday ay 50th anniversary ng seminary namin, di rin ako pupunta because of my review. na dedepress na ako kasi di ko na makasama mga kaibigan ko.. hayyy

hhhm, first and foremost, I am very comfortable and yes, happy with my faith...
all those you mentioned and the like don't interfere nor blemish my faith experience at all but rather guide me in my way of life as Catholic and Christian.
I live with my faith and and let other people live by their faith! No argument nor debate but only prayers for those Thomases who cast their doubts and/or do not believe.

we wear our hood in times of shielding ourselves from the following:
1. when we make our silent prayers in Church, 30 mins before the start of our 5:50Pm Vespers of the day...
2. when we walk along the pathway outside the giftshop and or at the patio of the Church or anywhere na may mga taong naka abang na agad for an ambush interview ( inteview from inquisitive guests without prior permission from our superiors)
3. when we have to stay after the Mass for a 10 or 15 minute quiet time and.....
4. when we go out under the heat of the sun, to cover our skin from getting sun burn and skin cancer from the ultra violet rays of the sun nyahahahahahahah.....
ang pang apat ay optional heheheh- bahala silang ayaw maglagay ng hood na masunog balat nila sa initan nyahahahahah....hapi monday sau jep jep..

ey baket kaya pag ni ki clik ko yung orange chiclet na nasa itaas kasama ng yahoo toolbar ng window ko ay sinasabi na FEED ERROR daw. pero pag dun naman ako nag clik sa orange chiclet ko na SUBSCRIBE TO MY FEED NOW na nilagay ko sa left side ng navigation bar ko ay ok naman ang feed URL nya at pwede mo siyang ilagay sa feedreader or save sa favorite feeds ng toolbar?...baket kaya why o why?...ay ang the best ay dedma mo na lang ang orange chiclet dun sa window toolbar but just use the orange chiclet dun mismo sa left nav bar ko oki?....nakakalokah ang mga ganito ganito waaaaaaaaahhhh....

mga tsong, ok na- nahanap ko na ang problema- yung site feed URL pala na nailagay ko sa setting ng site ko ay yung default- so yung url ng feedburner ang nilagay ko at ng subukan kong i klik ang chicklet sa window toolbar ko ay lumabas ang feed ng aking site---hayyy, ganun lang pala- pinag pawisan ako doon ahh.... isa na lang ang problema- ang link ng previous post ko ang hindi lumalabas--- another pondering for this hayyyyy....salamat mga kapatid at napuna nyo ang problema- try nyo nga na i subscribe ang feed ko? baka ganun na naman hahh....
