What a great and noble gesture of kindness and generosity Mr Flores has for the members of the Religious!...
The huge acres of land situated between Chama and Farmington NM, is a very beautiful piece of land rich in vegetation, and is near the highway and a river. Such is an ideal site for a monastery...
The official handing of the Deed that was registered in the Register of Deeds was done at the reception of our Phase three building after the celebration of the Holy Eucharist.
now the twist: since our community has already acquired a sufficient land more than enough to house its members, and since the Sisters of Our Lady of the Desert (our neighbor), has long been praying for a new site for their community, right then and there, with the presence of the whole Flores family and the Bishop of Farmington and Chama as witness; the abbot superior of our community officially donated (after it had been donated to us by Mr Flores and family) and handed the deed to the community of the Sisters of our lady of the Desert in one condition that should they fail to flourish in their community and is forced to close down their community in the future, the huge land will go back to us...well, it's such a fair deal and an act of generosity and kindness from the Abbot!!!!...
that's it, the Sisters has their new land now!...the future site of their permanent residence!...where they can start with their community independently and that'll be for good!....so let's keep our fingers crossed that they may flourish and survive the hardships of the modern-day struggle for Religious survival and stability...
what's goin to be the plan for the site that the sisters will vacate soon?- well, the abbot told us that he was thinking of founding a Vietnamese dependent house here in the USA and the monastery that the sisters will vacate would be their site...what a very good and noble plan the abbot has!....
i hope this noble plan will materialize soon as the Vietnamese group are increasing in number and they deserve to have a community of their own sooner or later....
as of now, we have Doms Mayeul, Odon, Dominic, Andrew, Paul Lavanng, John Dat, Dominic Dat, and Pierre Koa. all the nine of them can alone start a monastery of their own as their number (lucky nine) gets a Canonical Status in the Catholic Church...
and sooner or later, there will be four more Vietnamese monks who will be coming over the USA to join our community..Thanks goodness!, what a blessing the Vietnamese Province of Subiaco Congregation has been giving us!!!!!!....
so there you are folks, this donation-begets-donation such as the case of Mr Flores donating land to the monks and the monks donating it in return to the Sisters is a very good example of chain of kindness and generosity God has bestowed on His Brethren!!!

Ang tanong... handa na kaya ang monasteryo sa akin bwahahaha!
@jeprocks
aba- laging nakahanda ang monasteryo sa isang taong nakalaan na magsakripisyo ng buhay nya para sa ikakabuti ng buong sanlibutan hahahaha--
there's no saint inside the monastery--but sinners in different degrees trying to live holy and stuggle for holiness..and struggle from their 'old self'.....
ako ba ma iimagine mo na mag mo monghe samantalang noon ay laman ako ng mga diskuhan sa buong metro manila at inaabutan ng pagsikat ng araw kinabukasan ng sabado? or kada biernes ay laman ng mga fifth class motels sa avenida with a partner on a one night stand affair at mag tsi tsek out ng alas kwatro ng madaling araw para iwas pusoy sa mga mata ng madlang pipol?...
hahahahaha.....but when God likes a vocation in you-He will move and do everything to cleanse you and make you deserve to be His disciple afterall!.....
