Keas came in June to take two weeks of retreat before his ordination as pastor in his Protestant church and invited me as well to come over for the celebration but my prior Christian was just too anxious to allow me to go....for some reasons or the other. Too bad, keas felt so sad for he asked him twice if he can bring me to Miami Florida and will bring me back home a day after but Fr. Christian said no to that, twice too.
Pastor Michael Denton of a Protestant Church in Florida (too!) came in year 2003 when i was just stuggling with my first year of my Juniorship...and we became good friends after some three weeks of staying with us... from then on, he would come over for short visits al the way from Florida. His recent was two days before the Ordination of Andrew...He was glad to see after his failure to come over during the Profession of my Solemn Vows.
Pinay friends from Espanyola came over in July 11th Feast of St Benedict to share with me the blessings and graces of the day..
from Left to Right: Me, Merlinda( teacher in Espanyola Middle School) , Remy Dudte ( married to American and is teaching in California dDisrict, Ate Juliet Cruz (remy's mom who was taking a month-long visit in the USA, who owns Richland OB Montessori School in Bagbag Novaliches Phils. and is wife to Mr Cruz= the contractor who built SM Makati and other commercial buildings in Metro Manila), Rowena- tacher in Espanyola Middle School. the group stayed one day long to enjoy the scenery of the monastery and had a good conversation with me.
