St Benedict's feastday: part 1

it's  the feast  day of our patron saint, Saint Benedict== the   father of Western Monasticism and the founder of the great Benedictine Order: i was assigned as the cook of that great day. i prepared oven-fry crsipy chicken,  Asian stir fry mixed vegetables, sauteed  brown Pinto beans, mixed fresh vegetable salad with   caesar's and  thousand island dressings, steamed white jasmin rice, and carrot cakes. the number of people who joined the  banquet was 48. two guests who were included  in the   meal count of 50 didn't make it to the banquet. it was truly a blessed day for us, Benedictine monks and nuns at the canyons...
