how time flies fast and how delightful to venture with my past...

The year was 1994: The president of the San Beda Mountaineering Society and two other members of the org joined me in making an ocular inspection of the site of the first minor climb of the members of the org to be held on the first quarter of the school year: Mount Maculot in Cuenca,Batangas with an elevation of more or less 3thous to 4thous feet. Being the moderator-adviser of the org, i needed (and i liked as well) to come over with them to see for myself the site of the first training climb in which the applicants for membership to the org will be held.

current year (2007): My latest home visit to the Philippines gave me a chance to see and be with my pinay friend 'nanay' Divina who now lives in Lipa City who came back to the Phils from Albuquerque New Mexico, USA before the end of year 2006.

I made a promise to myself to really visit her once i arrive from the States. True to my word, i did come to Lipa City to pay her a visit. The whole day that i spent with her gave me so much delight as she brought me to places i long to visit, places that were significant and memorable to me:

The convent of the Carmelite Sisters in Lipa in where my former nun-classmate in Maryhill School of Theology wayback in 1997 is a member:

The Monastery of the Benedictine Sisters in Lipa whose member sister Gertude became my friend as time went on as she used to visit me in San Beda Grade School in December to ask me for assistance about her fruitcakes and goodies for sale to the faculty members.

The now priest Fr. Romy Mendoza, asst parish priest of Cuenca,Batangas who's a relative of my former principal Fr Anthony Mendoza in year 1999-2002. fr Romy used to visit the portals of the Grade School of San Beda to pay a visit to his cousin Anthony.

Mount Maculot in Cuenca Batangas as it was the site of my numerous climbs which i gladly did with my student-members of the college org in the CAS dept of San Beda in which I was the moderator-adviser. Such climbs were gloriously challenging.
