Sunday after Mass is "Cookies Time w/ guests

Ordinarily, monks are not allowed to talk and mingle with guests in the course of the week. Likewise, guests are not allowed either, unless with a special permission from the guestmaster.
However, there is one day of the week when both parties can talk and exchange pleasantries for one hour, and that is, during Sundays after the celebration of the Holy Eucharist.
Monks, nuns, and guests alike gather in the receiving room of Phase Three Building of the monastery shortly after the Mass for teas, coffees, juices, and cookies- hence we call it, "cookies time with guests".
During this time, silence and solitude are temporarily suspended to give way for monks and nuns to have pleasant conversations with guests of the monastery. This is our way to entertain them as these guests are just but eager to get to know us, talk with us, and be familiarized about what our life is all about, how we live life in the Cloister, and how we conduct our day with silence and solitude.
