chinese girl, vietnamese brother and pinoy monk...

Miss Eunice  Wong, a New Yorker  Immigrant, a  theater actress is here with us and  has  stayed for a week now and  will stay  with us for  another  one and-a-half weeks more..=gathering strength and energy  for her  forthcoming  theater act in Manhattan New York  two weeks from now..   and we  are  complimented  by  a   Carmelite brother from Washington DC, Bro Joseph  Hung Tran,  who is taking his  one month retreat  with us.....  that's life  in my community---people of different races..of  different walks of life come over  fleetingly and after  having  made  a   certain kind of "bonding" with  the monks, leave and  go back to  where they really belong...--hhhmmm, i have gotten adjusted to this kind of set-up...-the secret of my "staying power"=amidst their "come and go", is not to give it all (my whole life) to them...
