Power of God's Word

How powerful is the words of God, because they are able to forgive sin. They are able to ushers in graces into our lives. You will be more amazed by the power of God's words when you look at the useless of our words. When we witness our souls are soothed by the power of God's word, then we examine our words and realize their futility and uselessness. We become aware of how nasty, offensive and untruthful our words can be.

When we reflect on this we discover the reason for the power of God's Word and the worthlessness of our own words. And the reason is holiness. The source of God's Word is the holy God. His Word carries with its own power. The source of our own words are empty hearts, nasty hearts, angry hearts, suspicious hearts. And that is why our words become useless.

Let us also examine how we abuse our words. How our words, instead of soothing people hearts, hurt destroy and even kill others. because our words are nasty, unkind, inconsiderate and thoughtless.
