Criticize with Love

Much of our criticism is not done out of love. Much of our criticism is borne out of hardness of heart and selfishness. It is very risky to criticize. It could pose as health hazards. It could pose threats to our business. It could destroy beautiful friendships.

Let us ask ourselves, "Why are we afraid to criticize? It is because we are afraid to risk our friendships, to risk our businesses, to risk our relationships. But it is only people who are friends to us who can criticize...

On the other side, we are also taught how to receive criticisms. The humility to accept that we are not perfect is truly a sign of being a good disciple of the Lord.
As disciple of the Lord, there are two things we need to remember. First, criticize with love, and in the process is led to conversion. Second, humbly accept critisms in the spirit of openess and love. We must learn to criticize with love.
