Capacity to heal

We may have compassion with people with physical ailments but what the Lord tell us, is to have compassion for people with spiritual ailments. If we are eager to cure each other physical ailments, the Lord tell us that we must equally eager, perhaps even doubly eager, to attend to each other's spiritual ailments.

Maybe we do not have the capacity to give the right advice but certainly we have the capacity to pray to those who are spiritually sick. Maybe , we are not proper counselor, for we do not have any degree in Psychology , but centainly we have the capacity within to give a helping hand, to give tap on the shpulder, or to a make long delayed phone call, to write a letter of support ang assistance. Thse are not very expensive medicines but they can mean to a lot of people who are spiritually sick.

The Lord has given us the power to cure every disease of the body and the soul. Just let us be aware of our capacity to heal...Let us look aroud us to find out who are spiritually sick.
